Work All Day and Work All Night

Work hard

So here I am again sitting at my computer into the early hours researching my business, connecting with people and drinking coffee at 23.30 to stay awake and sometimes I think I must be crazy. I mean, I have a job and it pays enough to cover the bills and I work 6 days a week and I don’t see my son as much as I would like and he’s in bed by the time I get home most of the time and…….. oh damn I forgot the positives. There you have it really, there’s my reason. That’s where my crazy idea came from. Maybe just maybe there is something else I can be good at. Maybe just maybe I can pick Harry up from school everyday. Maybe just maybe I can be the mum I want to be instead of the mum I have to be. So I keep working and I keep pushing myself to get my business off the ground.

Self Development

knowledgeebossbabe

So we are told that as we get older we learn more and become wiser (in theory). Over the years we grow as a person because of the situations we come across and we put ourselves in. This means when we come to the end of our time on earth we should have developed all the necessary skills to be the best person we can be. But shouldn’t we strive to learn these skills earlier than this? At the end of our time its too late and although we have hopefully passed some knowledge on to the people around us over the years, shouldn’t we have lived that knowledge before its too late.

In this business we are encouraged to work on personal development as a skill to help with sales, recruitment and to make us better people. So, although a little skeptical at first I have bitten the bullet and downloaded ‘The Secret’ and ‘Face the Fear and Do It Anyway’ and I have to say although only half way through at the moment it is changing the way I think and feel in my life. I wont start preaching about how the books have changed my life but I will say it has changed the way I do things and how I handle situations and that alone has boosted my confidence.

Have a Great Day

Younique Slurge and Lip Stain Review

Hi All

So I decided to try out Younique’s Slurge Cream Eye Shadow in Elegant and Lip Stain in Shy on a family day out to Valencia. It was a hot day and I knew we would be out all day, so the ideal opportunity to see if they would live up to the claims of lasting all day and not creasing in the case of the Eye Shadow. I have got to say I was impressed I did not take the make up with me to touch up and with a nearly 2 year old running around, trust me I don’t have time to keep looking in the mirror and reapplying Make up.

The Eye Shadow did not crease at all, not even in the Spanish heat and in fact it was still on the next morning, as I was so tired when we got home I didn’t even bother to take my make up off.

The Lip Stain goes on Matte and I put a little clear Lip gloss on over the top once it had dried. It takes a couple of minutes to dry and then your all set for the day. Over the course of 9 hours it faded slightly but the colour was still obvious and it was totally Smooch and Cup proof too.

ONLINE Party Hostesses Wanted.

Is there anyone out there who wants free makeup. I know it sounds to good to be true but it’s honestly not!

It works like this:

💋You say “Jayne, I’d love be to be a party hostess and get some free makeup”.

💋Me “That’s wonderful, I’d love to have you as a hostess for one of my parties”.

Then all you do is let me set it up and you invite your friends. I will start a group for you and your friends to ask me questions about the products and anything else you want to know. All the sales that are made go towards points for the hostess and those points add up to free makeup.

At no point will I:

💋Pressure you or your friends to buy anything.

💋Pressure you to join my team.

💋 Bombard your friends and Family with messages about Younique.

Yes, I want my business to work but it won’t work if I pressure anyone and honestly it’s not my style.

My Kit Arrives Tomorrow.

Evening all.

I’m so excited, as the title suggests my Presenter Kit arrives tomorrow. It actually arrived today but I was at work so couldn’t greet the DHL man. I spoke to him earlier and have arranged for it to be delivered tomorrow to my boyfriends office.
The more I learn about this company the more excited I become. It really is about empowering women to help each other in this business. Showing women that they can help each other out and that we are all a team, designed to encourage each others growth rather than keep secrets about what works and what doesn’t work to ourselves. It has really opened my eyes to the fact that not everyone in the human race is just out to get what they can with little or no thought to anyone else. I can feel my trust in people growing already, Which is something I lost a long time ago.

Crazy Week.

So this week I am officially a Younique Presenter in Spain. I signed up on launch day, Tuesday 2nd May. I am totally excited about this opportunity and I want to make the most of it. Also this week I have been working full time and looking after my 23 month old Son. It’s been a busy week with quite a few challenges and more than a few lates night and not of the vodka kind!!! I’m learning quick that trying to succeed in this business means putting in the hours but it is totally rewarding when someone comes up to you at work and asks about the products. Although we can not sell in Spain until 2nd June we can promote and market in Spain and sell in other countries.

Our new Kudos is out this month and it’s an amazing offer.
